A Full Class
20.10.05
On Thursday night I had my second class with my high school students. Last week, only about 16 came so I was expecting the same number for this week. When class started, I thought I had guessed right but then was surprised when kids kept coming in. I finally closed the door and counted 30 kids, eight being girls. I was really happy to have so many students and some of them I have never even seen before.
We worked on passive and active voice and the hour and a half ended before I knew it. I know that the class will get smaller eventually because only the serious students end up staying.
It was a nice treat when I left the dar chebab and no one was there to follow me home, ask me for my number, or to marry them.
